Blaze of Glory

Months in the making, it was Girl's Night Out while our husbands stayed home with the kids.

Went with my friends Heather, Alyssa, & Becky. We were all in the RS Presidency together for a while. It was such a good time. But after looking at the pics, I'm wishing I would have done more with my hair that day! Oh, well....I'm sure Jon didn't care. He & Richie still waved at us after the concert while we waited above to watch them come out to the tour buses. We just happened to exit out the door overlooking the loading dock & back entrance so decided (with some protesting) to wait "just a little bit longer" to see if they came out. And sure enough - they did, we screamed, & they waved. So cool! Yes, I know. I feel like a teenage groupie, but I don't care.

The concert was great, though I could have done without the beer being splashed all over our backs. So much fun. The reality of age & getting home at almost 2:00 a.m. sank in when I had a headache & could barely function the next day. Back to mommyhood......ahhhh.....
