Things have been a little crazy around here and I'm just now finding the time to catch up on my blogging and check in on everyone. Even if I'm not leaving many comments, I hope you know how much I enjoy reading each of your blogs and being able to see what's going on in your lives. And those of you reading this that don't have a blog - you should definitely start one! It's such a great way to "journal" or "scrapbook" and just keep in touch.
So Conference was awesome! I love listening to the talks and the way that certain things stand out & touch you just as you need to hear them.
My aunt Mitizi came down from Provo to visit for the weekend. We didn't do a whole lot, but it was so much fun to hang out and catch up.

We let Ashlyn play in whipped cream - she sure doesn't seem to have any sensory issues! We got the truck all packed & ready to come home last Friday when the engine wouldn't start. We spent a long day without a car at one of the carpet stores waiting to hear the news. After a tow truck, a weekend rental car, and another trip back up there, we were excited and blessed to find out that it was just a connection & a $5 part rather than the expensive fuel pump we were expecting to replace. For all that time spent travelling, Ashlyn was such a trooper.
Monday was the year anniversary of moving into our home. Since I promised to show some of you photos a year ago, here they finally are.... I don't have a picture of the kitchen & the dishes aren't done so that will have to wait. When we get the master bedroom finished (in the next few years) & the spare rooms, then I'll post some of those. So I guess you can see the parts that are decorated for now:

Sounds like you've sure been busy! Ashlyn is adorable. I don't think any parent of little ones gets through the entire block of church meetings for a few years. :o)
Wow, a lot sure has happened since you last posted and it is all fantastic news. Can't wait to see you all for Christmas, and I must say, way to early to start listening to Christmas music. We don't start until after Thanksgiving!
Love the house and the decorating. I had such big ideas when we moved and then I ran out of energy the big joke is if I will ever finish... probably not. But your house looks great. and Ashlyn is growing so fast once they start walking I feel like they grow up way to fast. Shirlyn
