At least we're attempting to stay cool in this wicked heat & humidity. We just stay indoors, go from our air conditioned house to the air conditioned car, to air conditioned buildings. If you want to get any yard work done, it's best before 9:00am or after 9:00pm. Even then you're sweating like crazy, but at least it's tolerable. It is hard some days when Ashlyn and the dogs get a bit stir crazy not being able to just go outside and play, but we're finding alternate routes of refreshing entertainment. Derek was so proud of his Mohawk. Don't worry, it only lasted a few days till he had to go back to work, but it was a fun "social experiment" as he called it.

Ashlyn's all smiles here, but she wasn't so happy when she got in trouble and had to clean off the marker from herself, the baby, the computer, and the desk.
